A Watchface is build up on layers. Four layer types are available in Watchface Builder.

• Text Layer
• Image Layer
• Shape Layer
• Marker Layer

Use the text layer for displaying Text in a Watchface. With the expression builder you can use Tags to display additional information like battery status or wheater conditions.

If you want to use images in your watchface choose image layer as your watchface layer. Another most common use for the image layer is for icons to display conditions like battery life or wifi level.

Use the shape layer for drawing a line, a circle or a rectangle.

With the marker layer you can draw watch markers
